This cheat sheet aims to answer any basic questions you have about the catalog.

What is Psyonic?

Psyonic, pronounced SIGH-ON-ICK, meaning all knowing, is a catalog of meticulously curated music from some of our favorite composers. We've carefully selected our favorite tracks from a global community of exceptionally talented artists and gathered them in one convenient location for you to incorporate into your projects. 

How do I use Psyonic?

Using Psyonic prior to sessions or in session offers an opportunity to elevate your projects with radio worthy tracks, offering uncompromising quality, limitless creative options (stems, revisions, key changes, etc.), and unparalleled flexibility.

Why Psyonic vs another company or stock?

Sonic Union boasts 3 in-house composers and works with a roster of freelancers globally. Psyonic is tailored to complement the specific needs of Sonic Union and our clients. Unlike generic stock music libraries and catalogs, Psyonic is a collection of high quality, well-produced, original, and modifiable compositions to choose from. Our producers can curate a list based on your team’s needs, or provide access to search yourself.

How do I search the catalog?

The Psyonic catalog can be found at http://psyonic.sonicunion.com OR https://sonicunion.disco.ac/lib/8622/playlists.

A free DISCO account is required to access the full features of Psyonic, you’ll receive an invite to join.

To start, type a keyword into the search bar and hit enter to begin.

You’ll have a set of results that you can now modify with the filters on the left hand side.

These should help you narrow your search by mood/feel/tempo/etc:

When you find a track you like, click the + icon and add it to a new playlist.

Now, go to the My Music tab on the left hand side of the library to see your new playlist.

From the playlist, you can download your tracks as WAVs and drop them into session!

Is Psyonic spelled Pysonic?

No.
